Our Process

How will we clean your roof?

Our roof cleaning process involves a low pressure application of a specialized mix of detergents, followed by a low pressure rinse.  We do not use Power Washers in the process.  Our system is safe for your home, family, pets, and plants.

What makes Clean My Roof so much better then the other guys?

Our LOW-PRESSURE System and CUSTOM CLEANING AGENTS are so gentle they can be applied DIRECTLY to your BARE HANDS.

We use OUR OWN MOBILE HOT WATER HEATER.

Hot water allows our custom solution to PENETRATE every shingle, DEEP-CLEANING the entire roof.

Other guys just use COLD water, which is a lot easier for them but will not clean your roof as well as our HOT WATER does!

What are those black streaks on my roof? They are ugly, but what else should I know?

They are a type of algae that thrives in humid areas like Cape Cod. Gloeocapsa Magma is it’s name, and it has become more of a problem in the last few decades because shingle-makers now use limestone filler in the manufacturing process, which is food for this destructive algae. Roof stains mean that your shingles are being eaten, which can result in a shortened lifespan for your expensive roof. If Gloeocapsa Magma grows over large areas of your roof, it can affect your roof’s reflective properties, costing you increasingly more in energy bills as it grows.

How long does a roof cleaning last?

Our roof cleanings always come with a two-year guarantee that your shingles will remain clean, but you can expect your roof to stay algae-free for at least three years once we’ve cleaned it.

How much does it cost?

We usually inspect every home’s exterior before committing to a price quote because no roof is exactly the same, and variables like roof size, pitch, and design all apply.

We save you money!

Chimney Sealing

Chimneys are porous and absorb water, daily and during rain and snow storms. In cold weather, water that the chimney has absorbed will freeze, expand, and cause damage. Small and large pieces of brick, mortar, and cement may break off damaging the chimney. The best preventative maintenance is to seal the exterior of your chimney against moisture infiltration. We use a breathable sealant that allows the chimney to breathe while protecting the exterior from the inclement weather and elements.

Before sealing the chimney, we gently clean the chimney to remove all mold, mildew, lichen, dirt, rust, and creosote. This allows proper absorption of the sealant. We then apply two coats of sealant to the chimney.
